Where to find great sushi in Utah

Whenever I tell people I’m excited to get sushi in Salt Lake City, I usually get a response like… zuuuhh??! But I’m tellin you - there is a place that has quality sushi at a great price.

I’m talking about Takashi.

This is a pretty straightforward post so imma just show you pics of what I liked, their names, and legit receipts at the end to show you how reasonable this place is!

Takashi is great for solo diners because they have two bar seating areas.

The only tip I have is to get there right before they open (esp for dinner). Otherwise, there’s a little indoor seating for when you wait.

Salmon Gunkan - I order this every single time!

Negitoro.

Seared black cod nigiri.

Takashi hakozushi (aka The Box). This is super filling - 3 fish and hella rice.

Iwana nigiri and NZ salmon nigiri.
